Infrastructure Update
Currently, the District, with grant assistance from DEQ, is in the process of replacing the existing transmission main water line from the well and treatment plant near Enaville to the Smelterville Booster Station. The new transmission main will be constructed primarily of 24-inch C-900 PVC. The pipe alignment will generally parallel the Trail of the Coeur d’Alene’s. The alignment includes 2 elevated crossings utilizing existing bridges over the South Fork Coeur d’Alene River and Pine Creek.
